The so called Landlord of this place has no manners whatsoever. He was surly and rude and didn't appear to want to serve us. We waited almost 15 minutes for drinks, gave up on food and ate at Clarks Cabteen over the road.If he has PMT he should take the day off. A miserable experience all round.[Report for Removal] Anne

Food took 45 minutes to arrive at lunchtime and it wasn't very busy. Bar staff didn't seem very experienced, relying on tills to add up, also delays in being served as the food bills seemed to totally stump them. We sat outside, 4 middle aged ladies with our glasses of drinks, only to be served by an older bloke next time who insisted we had plastic glasses. He said it was to do with Health and safety, incase kids cut themselves. Well for a start why cant they insist the parents keep the little buggers under control, secondly there were only 2 other people sat outside, in their seventies, thirdly, why not have an adult only section? The waitress seemed unable to bring our lunches together, plates were brought out one at a time. The last meal to arrive, a ham and cheese baguette arrived a full ten minutes after everyone else's. When asked for the waitress said she'd 'been waylaid' No apologies. Not really good enough when you have only an hour for lunch. Apart from that, nice place![Report for Removal] Lorraine
