| we had booked a table and got seated, but told we would have to wait because they had another table for 4 seated just before we arrived. The waitress asked if we would like some garlic bread whilst we wait for our food. we accepted their offer of 2 portions. Our food when it finally arrived looked unappetizing and tasted bland. When we received our bill only to fined they had charged 9.75 for the 2 portions of garlic bread. We just paid the bill and will never return.[Report for Removal] | Mond Strensall North Yorks |

| The Ship Inn has recently been taken over by Alex and Luci and for once it has converted into a very nice Bistro food pub, and they are currently re-furbishing the restaurant to increase capacity - think should be open end of August. We have been recently for a couple of meals and the food and service has been excellent - no complaints - the Black Sheep is also bob on! It is nice to finally have a decent pub in Strensall where you can have a nice drink and good food and service - Good luck Guys keep up the good work![Report for Removal] | Judi Strensall, York North Yorkshire |
