| Tastefully decorated pub.Lovely food, friendly efficient staff. Fantastic beer garden overlooking the river. Importantly for us, we were allowed to take our dog in the bar area. [Report for Removal] | Xena Sheffield S. Yorks |

| This lovely old pub has been renovated to a high but understated level that suits its age & character. The food is extremely pleasing to the eye & palate, the menu is varied without being confusing. Many of the ingredients including the Game are sourced locally. Staff are polite & attentive without being to fussy. I feel that the ambience is jusr right for this sort of establishment. I have eaten there twice in the last 12 weeks & will be going back again very soon. As it is a 56 mile trip to do so I thnk this tells you all you need to know. Well done to Kerry & Martel,a lovely old building saved & the restaurant vastly improved!!.[Report for Removal] | D.Mumford Selby North Yorks |
