| As a member of the birthday party of 38 already reviewed, I would like to endorse the comments. Food and service were superb and nothing was too much trouble. | We booked in advance as there were 38 people out to celebrate a family birthday. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, a welcome atmosphere and good beer (San Miguel, Smiths Cask and more). We were taken to our tables at the exact time we had booked for and our starters were served. Between us there were various dishes and all were excellent. Same with the main courses, large portions, plenty of veg and home made chips, all piping hot and well prepared. | Had a fantastic meal sat 1st march 2008 very freindly staff & good beer. I had the soup which was home made my wife had the mussels that were extremely good we both had sirloin steak which was cooked to our liking & came with mushrooms, onion rings, home made chips and nicely prepared vegetables.
