| Attended a wedding at the nags head last week and was amazed at the transformation. I last went in there about 12 months ago and it was a dive -full of undesirables and loud mouthed yobs. I was dreading the wedding because of the nags reputation but what a difference. It has been done out completely and is now a proper olde world country pub. Lots of nooks and crannies to snuggle up in, with quite a few open fires that the manager tells me really work and are lit whenever it gets cold. The function room is reaaly nice with its own bar and the staff were great.Had a look at the menu in the pub and while its not cheap it does look like a nice selection, we have too many cheap and cheerful pubs in this area.
