| Booked a table and didn't even bother to eat there. Were made to stand at the end of the bar waiting to be sat at the table for over 15 mins, whilst locals just pushed passed and sat themselves down! Eventually sat down and felt like we were in a zoo, never felt so uncomfortable in a pub/restaurant before! What a shame, the menus looked good and the food looked nice, but were just made to feel like "outsiders". [Report for Removal] | Wood Hednesford Staffs |

| A family party, booked on the basis of a lovely time last year To begin with something positive, The Batham's Ale was simply wonderful. The food and service were disatsrous. Waitress on her first shift, given no support, Mussell starter full of sharp edged broken shells. The chicken was cooked to shooey leatheriness. Garden peas orfered, mushy peas served. Lipstick marks on two wine glasses. Pussings were served froze (I mean frozen solid) including cheesecake and creme brulee. Manager rolled his eyes when puddings sent back. Staff on cigarette break in carpark were discussing our party and sayin that we were just out for a discount. Proprietor would not come and dicuss our evening. Oh dear!
