| This is a very difficult review to leave - 3 out of 5 of us loved the meals but the two who had steak were very disappointed. The steak was tough and even left one of our party choking to the point of vomiting once we had managed to sort her out! Not a good meal for her at all! However, service was fantastic and the staff did all they could to make sure we were happy - although were strangly not around when the choking incident happened! I would certainly go back in the hope that tonight's steak was a one off poor meal. I have been twice before and both times had fantastic food. It would have been much better if the chef or the manager had of come to speak to us when we complained about the steak, but they didn't.[Report for Removal] | Sharon Guy Cannock Staffs |

| exceptional home cooked food,if you like fresh fish then the goats head is a must with fresh monkfish, seabass, hake, tuna, sole and much more variety with starters of squid, scallops, king prawns and greenland mussells! Also the steak and kidney pie with shortcrust pastry is a long time traditional favourite with homemade chips. Why not enjoy all this with one of Edwards four fine award winning ales of either Black Sheep Best Bitter, Marstons Pedigree,Abbot Ale, And Guest Bitter. This 16TH Century Inn has a great and friendly atmosphere, well worth a visit!!![Report for Removal] | Malcolm Smith Burntwood Staffordshire |
