| Top place for a night out in Walsall Town. Been going years and have never seen any real trouble and as for the malicious and slanderous accusations spread on here by barred people, the landlord is a fantastic bloke and a credit to the local community. Some great bands on Thursdays and Sundays, not just Irish but all sorts, best value beer outside Wetherspoons, lots of choice including real ales and scrumpy and very friendly and helpful staff. | Been there a few times only on friday and saturday nights. Absolutely fantastic! Full of all walks of life, never felt any threat of trouble, dance and drink and enjoy yourself. My recomendation is give it a go! Even if you dont dance you coyld 'people watch' all night!! Would imagine you could get trouble if you wanted it but aint that the same anywhere you go. I owe the landlord a lot i will always see him as a decent bloke. can be a bit bitch like and make some false acusations but shit happens. so dont listen to bazza it's a great pub ran by a great bloke! | I must agree with Danny on this place - it really is a rough and common pub. I do not think that it is a racist pub. But, lots of common Walsall trash come to this pub and some look for trouble - that's true. They are the scum of society in Walsall and my mate was threatened by some guys. The pub has rough types with little manners and foul mouths. The landlord is partly to blame for this - he encourages it himself. I know the landlord well and his dirty past. He was convicted for drug dealing and spent time in prison. This is a fact and many people can confirm it. He is now involved in prostitution and this is also linked with the pub. So, if you want a good night out, then I just can't recommend Flan O'Briens....BUT, perhaps the landlord can get you a prostitute for the night..! [Report for Removal] | Bazza Walsall West Midlands |

| Flans is brill on the weekend if you are looking for a pub that is friendly and lively with a great atmosphere. It has some great live irish bands on thursdays and sundays and karaoke on friday nights and disco on saturday nights. Flan O Briens isnt just great on the weekend its also quite a nice boozer in the week if you are looking for a place nice and quite where you can go for a nice quiet drink.
