| I have been to this pub a few times now since it has been under new management, I must say Kath and Alan are just what this large family pub needed. The food is real home cooked food, none of that plastic tasting rubbish, the carvery is excelent and at only £3.25 cheaper than the pup up the road and a lot better, The beers and largers are kept to a high standard and the range of fridge bottles is equal to that of a town centre pub. Entertainment in the form of a karioke is on every Friday night from 9pm, its good fun, I am told that a Sunday night quiz is also in the planning once they find a suitable quiz master.
