| went there sunday 20 of us for family occasion taken kids aswell the 8 people who had the chicken ended up with food posion , absolutley terrible place 2 of my relatives didnt get there food until the rest had eaten and plates been collected what a joke avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![Report for Removal] | mackenzie bradford yorkshire |

| We booked in advance for a party of 14, the pub was almost empty when we arrived. The table set up for a party of that size was poor with a setting for two of the party not in line with the others and a bit "out on a limb". The pub was cold which reflected the attitude of the staff. When the food eventualy arrived more than 1 hour after our arrival the standard was poor, one meal (macoroni cheese)was sent back because it was hard, the meat in the mixed grills was well done and dryed up on two plates when it was requested medium. When the one meal went back they did not apprear to be bothered that a guest had not eaten and were quite happy to give the money back. As this was a family party they missed out on 14 sweet orders and we did not use the childrens play area as we had planned, not to mention the £25 per round of drinks that they would have got if we had stayed longer. so the pub missed out on quite a lot of income. | Looks quite nice from the outside, dont get me wrong, you pay for what you get with 2 for 1 deals, but this one was so basic and uninspiring. If you ask me it needed a new landlord, many to kick out the screaming kids and also to get the place a bit of life in it.
