| We went as a party of 4 @ 7o'clock on Monday 8th February 2010 for a birthday celebration. Service was very poor and it was not busy. Ordered 2 drinks plus a bottle of wine with 2 glasses - no glasses provided & after waiting 30 minutes we went & got them ourselves, After further 30 minute wait, we went & asked for someone to come & take our order. Dirty starter dishes were still on the table when main course was served & we had already been to the bar to purchase more drinks as no staff had been near.Also ordered another pint of lager when main meal was delivered but this was not served until we had finished eating main meal (& I eat extremely slowly). We had to ask for them to take our dessert order at 10 o'clock as no staff had been around for ages. Some parts of all the main meals were cool & other parts were warm as if they had been partly plated & left out whilst waiting for other items to finish cooking, ie, surf & turf - meat & prawns were cool but chips were hot, lamb rump was warm but vegetables were cool. | Rude and unhelpful waiter from the moment we entered the pub. 40 minute wait for starters, 1 hour wait for main meal. 2nd drinks order was not taken nor were we informed of they delay in the kitchen or an apology.
