| We went to celebrate getting married with a meal at the Winwick Quay. My partner proposed to me here so we felt it was only fitting. The pub has recently been renovated and the interior has been much imporved. The pub area is very comfortable and relaxing. There is a large bar serving area and clearly identified toilets. The resturarnt has been changed into small, secuded booths, with wood flooring, tables and decore. It is very light and airy and exceptionally clean. The service is now from the table and the young man who served us was well groomed, neat and cleanly dressed and was very welcoming, polite and friendly. The service was quick and pleasant. The menu was extensive and fairly priced. We ordered our food which came very quicly and was delicious. We were asked if each course was enjoyable and I had no problem swapping chips for a baked potatoe with my main course. There is a large area outdoors where you can eat or smoke and the children's play area has been removed, which I hope will deter parents from taking children here. I would highly recommend the Winwick Quay to anyone who lives locally or who is a visitor to Warrington. A very pleasant evening out.[Report for Removal] | Wendy Westby Warrington Cheshire |
