| This pub has now changed it's name to The Cheshire Lounge ( sounds classy doen't it ) The website also looks classy. BUT, it's not. I visited 2 weeks ago and intended to eat there. Luckily I visited the toilets first and found them quite dirty. If they can't see that what is the kitchen like. I walked out and ate somewhere else and would advise anyone else to do the same. | Oh dear, what has happened to this pub? On a sunny weekend this place was packed with familes, due to the great kids play area, good food and reasonable bar prices. My last visit on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June, came as a shock, possibly 8 people in the pub that i could see and 4 adults with 3 kids outside, maybe the £7.50 for a pint of lager and 2 small cokes was the answer. £3.50 for a Kronenberg and £2.00 for half a coke Every person that came outside complained about the bar prices! "make it last we're going after this drink" etc. What's more my two little ones love it there, how long can one drink last!! Come on guys, putting on ludicrous bar prices to counter act a falling clientelle is most definately not the answer. [Report for Removal] | Simon Bradshaw Sale Cheshire |
