| During the production of the Beatles' animated movie "Yellow Submarine" in nearby Soho Square, the Dog and Duck was the animators' (including myself)pub of choice after a hard day's slaving over the drawing board. The cartoonists paid tribute to the owners of the pub by featuring pictures of them in the "Eleanor Rigby" sequence of the movie. One of them was depicted photographing the pub dog, Scrumpy, and the other was depicted trapped inside a red phone box. Just a bit of useless trivia, but a reminder to me of many great nights that we spent at the Dog and Duck! Cam Ford (cinemagic@yahoo.com)[Report for Removal] | Cam Ford Moss Vale Australia |
