| Went here on 22nd June, first day of holiday with my wife and our 3 year old twins, not a good start to our holiday! The food was awful as was the service. I found the staff rude and the food worse. The childrens pasta dish was soggy as well as taking 10 minutes to cool down to excessive microwaving (not suitable for a 3 year old), the other childrens meal I ordered was sausage/chips and the sausage had been deep fried on more than 1 occasion the skin of the sausage had virtually diasappeared and had been replaced by a crispy mess of sausage meat. The two adult meals were less than adequate too and we left feeling very disappointed not impressed with our first "taste" of cornwall and perrenporth. We would had raised the complaint at the time, but having already found the staff very rude we decided to leave and "write off" The Green Parrot as a bad experience. | Visited this pub on holiday in May'07 and was very impressed. It has recently been taken over, redecorated and a new menu put in place. The food is excellent, by far the best pub food that i have eaten and much better than any restaurant charging a similar price.
