| A delightful, ancient inn recently taken over by Paul (he American - grandson of Marlene Dietrich!!)and Juliette (she super cook). Locals told me they had transformed the atmosphere. I sampled a number of excellent real ales and had Juliette's Beef in Guinness stew, of which not a drop left behind. Spent the night in a rustic, comfortable room with good pillows and an adequate ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was "whatever you want" cooked to order. Everything seemed to have more flavour. Had a long walk down to and along the sea. The local cove below Ringmore is slate-based and the shapes the slate has be formed into are extraordinary and fascinating. Definitely worth the trip.[Report for Removal] | K.Divall Wimbledon London |
