| I have visited The Castle on more than one occasion. I am pleased to say that the first impression I got was that it was clean, and fairly friendly. It had character and avoided the usual young, drunk crowd. However, I'm not giving it a full rating yet since other visits have not been quite as pleasant. The last night I ordered a dry-white-wine, and to my dismay it was awful. It actually tasted diluted if that is even possible. Hoping it would get better I persisted, since it was a nice night and a nice crowd. However I was simply unable to finish it. I politely asked to see the bottle, and no surprise, it was a very cheap and very poor quality wine. I decided to inform the lady who served me, of this opinion, and I have to say the reaction I got was less than pleasant. Considering that they charge a hefty price for a small glass, I simply stated that I'm not interested in a refund, just to inform them of perhaps an oversight on managements part. Needless to say, that working in the hospitality business, it is an advantage to be hospitable, which this lady was not.
