| We just came back from great dinner in this excellent pub. It wasn't our first meal there, but every time we eat there it feels like better than before :). My missus had grilled salmon on butter sauce with baked potato, I had great ribey steak with wild mushroom sauce and home made chunky chips - just perfect. Chef is truly an artist and waiters are quick and very polite. Ah forgot - started buffalo mozzarella baked in ham to share - just heaven. Was more than enough , really big portions - and perfect seasoning. We live in St. Leonards , it takes half an hour to get there, but it is worth it. And they have Harveys Sussex best ale ! :) If you live locally, put this pub on your list :) All the best to the team of Three Cups Inn[Report for Removal] | K. | A friend of mine - David Rolton of Punnetts Town has given me a link to this website to allow me to leave a comment / rating. I was rather shocked to hear of the lady form Haywards Heath's strange opinion of this delightfully welcoming public house. I have eaten here 4 times with our friends, David and Elaine, and can honestly say it has been the best meals out we have had in a long, long time. | Having eaten at this wonderful, warm and friendly country pub over 10 times now i can safely say it has the best food in the area. The atmosphere is cosy and the lovely open fireplace made myself and my family feel very at home! The staff were very efficient and Simon, the chef / co-owner, very friendly indeed. | After a very good meal in August this year, myself and 4 friends decided to have our Christmas get together at the 3 Cups last Sunday 2 December. The meal was dreadful, I had an extremely upset stomach from am Monday through Monday, 1 friend had actual food poisoning and was away from work, another 2 friends felt 'quite unwell'. My plate was collected with most of the meal left on it, but no one came to see why, turkey, rock hard and dry and no cranberry sauce 'we are out of it'! Never again. The starter was obviously bought and it tasted it! One friend ordered cheese and biscuits which never arrived, they have either changed their chef or standards have seriously slipped, but we certainly won't be going back, or spreading a 'good' word, in fact the opposite.[Report for Removal] | Sylvia Brimson Nr Haywards Heath West Sussex |
