| A very rude landlord, the worst I have ever met. It was so bad we walked out after paying for a meal which we had not yet had. Do not go here ever. I didn't think such poor customer service still existed.[Report for Removal] | Matt Sevenoaks Kent |

| Classic village pub dating back to C17th, the George & Dragon isocated on the A227 Borough Green to Tonbridge road. It's a former the home of the Earl of Stafford and was visited frequently by Queen Elizabeth I. The Gunpowder Plot was hatched next door in the town house and the Duke of Northumberland was imprisoned in the old restaurant. Owners Fiona and Mark Harris acquired the Shepherd Neame tenancy of The George & Dragon in Ightham in 2006 and also run The Harrow in Hadlow in September 2008. The pub's Executive Head Chef, Simon Brazier, sources much of his ingredients locally, is exceptionally talents and attracts gastro tourists from far and wide. A la carte, bar and kids’ menus.
