| We did eat there this time - service was good - food was very good. I wouldn't have a starter next time - though actually I did manage to finish my excellent fish pie. Had lots of Tom Woods' Shropshire Lad to drink - a good'un. If you're in Ironbridge, this pub is just off the main run and well worth finding. | A good old-fashioned pub with a real fire and close to Ironbridge Gorge. Real ales - they had Wadsworths 6X, Stonehouse Cambrian Gold, Everard's Tiger, Wychwood Hobgoblin and I can recommend Citra, brewed by the Ironbridge Brewery just down the road by the river at Merrythought Village. Didn't eat there, but the menu had lots of locally sourced food. I've heard it's good. This is the one to visit if you're in the area. [Report for Removal] | Bill Dargue Birmingham West Midlands |
