Went again in March - They had Black Sheep's Ruddy ram on draught, an interesting bitter stout with an interesting body. Not a session beer, but well worth a pint. And we had a 'light' lunch - good pub food and plenty of it. Had a nice chat with the very friendly landlady, a Smethwick lass, who made us very welcome. We'd go out of our way to visit this pub. Went just after Christmas. Very busy, but the staff had time to give us a friendly welcome. Didn't eat the food, but it looked good. They had Tribute on draught - it doesn't get much better than that! A typical old English pub in a lovely old English town. Well worth a visit. [Report for Removal] Bill Dargue
