| Went again in March - They had Black Sheep's Ruddy ram on draught, an interesting bitter stout with an interesting body. Not a session beer, but well worth a pint. And we had a 'light' lunch - good pub food and plenty of it. Had a nice chat with the very friendly landlady, a Smethwick lass, who made us very welcome. We'd go out of our way to visit this pub. | Went just after Christmas. Very busy, but the staff had time to give us a friendly welcome. Didn't eat the food, but it looked good. They had Tribute on draught - it doesn't get much better than that! A typical old English pub in a lovely old English town. Well worth a visit.
