We have stayed in this pub on and off for the past 4 years, it was cheap, central to shops, the train station and the Quantock Hills. The 8 B&B rooms before were very basic and not comfortable!! But we stayed on the 18th March 2009 and what a difference we saw! Polite, friendly staff, a selection of Real Ales and a numerous wine selection.. One massive improvment was the new ''thick'' carpet they have had laid. The fireplace was roaring and the atmosphere was buzzing.. Would definatley recommend to anyone that wanted to stay in the South West to stay at the Royal Huntsman.[Report for Removal] Chris Simmons

What a fantastic place. New owners Sandy and Rob have made this into the pub it should be. It's a great, welcoming atmosphere and clean througout. I popped in on the way to Minehead and had a lovely meal, freshly prepared by the new chef Tony, accompanied by a half-pint of real ale Stargazer. What a difference from a year ago!
