| I have visited this pub twice, and I am very happy to say tha th 2nd visit was much more pleasant than the 1st. The first time we came it was dreadful. The pub was dirty and attracted the wrong crowd which was pretty intimidating. I only visited the 2nd tme which was last weekend becaus I was told it had been taken over. The pub is a much nicer place to be than before and the food that is served up is delicious and excellent value for money, especially the childrens meals. I am glad I gave this pub a second chance as has really been turned around. The family that now run it are excellent and have given the place a much nicer feel.
