| Sigh... where do I start? I lived in Welly for 2 years, very much sticking out like a sore thumb as "the token Canadian". The Kings Arms became my "local" and I enjoyed every drunken night there. Karaoke every Friday and Saturday night, as well randomly hooking up with some of Wellington's finest gentlemen. Everyone I met at the King's Arms graciously took me under their wing, and I fell in love with each and every one of them. The bars here at home in Canada just don't compare, no character, no comfort, I'm all for English pubs. By far, the best 2 years of my life were spent in Wellington, and almost every single one of those weekends I did at least one night at the Kings.
