| Used to be a fanastic little pub, however new owners are rude, confrontational and careless, no regard for customers and terrible service. Agree with Bob! Good luck Butcombe, you've destroyed the reputation of this 'was' wonderful pub. [Report for Removal] | Mark Somerton Somerset |

| As a regular at this pub for years I am upset to say that since Butcombe Brewery took over this 'Freehouse' they have ruined it. Apart from the fact that the manager is totally clueless I have heard from many people that the chefs (sorry cooks) no longer care for the food they send out. Desperation springs to mind when you see that they have to resort to curry and steak nights. I like many I have heard from will not set foot in this establishment again. Good luck to Butcombe as a company as you will need it with this pub and the current staff you have.[Report for Removal] | Bob Day Langport Somerset |

| The owners take great pride in what they do and serve first-class food and the staff are courteous and really take pride in what they do - I recommend anyone visiting central Somerset go there. Furthermore they act as a venue for community groups in the village and this shows their pub plays a huge role in helping this community to thrive.[Report for Removal] | Matthew Bell Bournemouth Dorset |

| One of the rare restaurants where they obviously regard the customer as king. Food and atmosphere is excellent and the owners and staff go out of the way to see that you are treated well.[Report for Removal] | john godfrey Glastonbury SOMERSET |

| Excellent place; depending on what you like. Out of the way pub, no modernities, no plastic, just good honest food and ale. Very few about like this now.[Report for Removal] | Graham Glastonbury Somerset |
