| we have used the wulston pub for about 40 years, and noticed the slow decline of the place over the years,as it changes management, it seeems to get worse, i love a nice tender steak with chips and garden peas, but the last tme we went for a meal i decided to have a baked potatoe for a change, and was told that they had not got any left, and yet there not many in the pub itself, is that bad management or what? i did offer to go to ASDA to get some. | went for a family meal, I am a vegetarian and there are only three veggie main meals on the menu (you can also have a burger or a curry, but these aren't mains and are excluded from the two for one offers) so I chose one but when I went to order I was told that there is now only one veggie main option, which as it happens I don't like, so I ended up having a childrens meal - am not happy and would definately not recommend the wulstan to anybody. | As soon as we entered the door we were impressed with the decor and how smart the place was, that's where it ended! We ordered two sausage baguettes and chips with a drink included. We waited, then waited and waited...After nearly forty minutes and it was a Monday afternoon and the pub was not busy I went up to the bar to enquire how much longer our meals would take to arrive. The girl who served me told me to wait as she was taking someone else's order even though no one else was present at the bar. Some ten minutes later the baguettes wre brought out, the chips were shocking - frozen hard bits and my wife asked the same girl for vinegar and she did not evn bring that - or we would risk another lengthy wait no doubt so we didn't bother. To cap it all however, not a hint of an apology for how long we had had to wait from the girl which I thought was extremely rude.
