| One of the most friendly and welcoming country pubs I've visited. Food was excellent all round and service couldn't have been better. Locals were very friendly. Only wished we'd come across it at the begining of our holiday and not at the end. Definately worth a visit.[Report for Removal] | Anita Thompson Barnard Castle Co Durham |

| this pub is excellent plus it has a reaturant that serves the most delious food in the area. the chef is brilliant he buys his produce from different suppiers which shows when you taste it. it is now our number one place to eat. home made soup to excellent deserts ( with proper chips not frozen ) birthday treat now monthly treat.
