| Average food-nice soup and desert but soggy veg and dried up Yorshire puds. Dowdy decor. TERRIBLE service. Group booking for Xmas meal.Took ages to serve us, 1 of group is diabetic and needed to eat as had taken her insulin. Whole 3 courses took 3 hrs to complete. From 3 waitresses and not 1 smile whole eve. Never asked if needed more drinks or even water for the table. Ran out of some deserts even though pre-ordered. Overcharged at end and had to sort it out after half the party had left. Only pluses - Lad at carvery who was friendly, the barman was good and plenty of parking space. | Nice pub with plenty of room. Great singles club meets here on second and last Wed's every month in the evening. Staff friendly, drinks a tad dear.[Report for Removal] | cazan Essex England |
