| Well where do i start. Visited there with friends, the table in the Bar was sticky as were the place mats in the restaurant. We given a bottle of water with no glasses. The starters were pretty good however i had sea food risotto whereby the mussels were very gritty but passable.The other 3 had stuffed mushrooms and Prawn cocktail which again was i'm told very tasty.The main course was Steak with everybody agreed was dry and lacked sauces and was a bit bland. I had a Prawn pasta whick was spicey but tasty albeit the Prawns were a bit chewy.My companions had dessert which i passed on instead, i had a beer which two of the staff had difficulty in pronouncing !!.The best mistake was left until last when the bill showed that the 2 portions of Stuffed mushrooms came to £111.00 instead of £11.00 unbelievable. This was recrtified and dropped from the bill as was the service charge. I visited the Cherry Tree 10 years ago, I think it could be another 10 years before i frequent it again.
