| This pub has undergone a number of management changes within the past few years, and hasn't quite been the same since the first. The most recent management did treat us rather poorly, as regular, non troublesome punters we became rather offended and have since not been back. This pub is only 10 mins walk for me and now i'd rather go further for a warmer reception. [Report for Removal] | Ben Peterlee Durham |

| What a disaster. When ordered starter "prawns ON a bed of lettuce" we had lettuce placed on the side . 1 of the prawns was still FROZEN still had ice attached .The main course MIXED GRILL was even worse, it arrived on a sizzler plate where all the peppers & onions WERE burnt.when askeD if we enjoyed the meal and i said about It being burnt (his comment was "At least you know they cooked") ,So to top it all we asked for a desert only to be told "sorry no deserts the chef has gone home cos its BUSTERS night" .So needless to say we will NOT be going back there again , and thanks for spoiling by Birthday night out !!
