| could be a great pub, used to be a great pub, landlord needs to find some staff who want to work, the beers fine, the locals are great especialy on a saturday after the local shoot, all it needs is a shake up to make it worth using as a local[Report for Removal] | ian salisbury wilts |

| What a pub? Olde worldie, fantastic real ales straight from the barrel. Great pub food (lunchtimes only). There is no other place that compares with this one. There is an eccentric barman there called Stan. His sense of humour and general demeanour is an entertainment in itself. He makes you feel most welcome straight away! You feel like a Local within minutes! He has a tremendous wit and we were entertained by this wit every time someone entered the bar. Some of it was quite scathing but readily received! He ought to have his own show on the telly! My wife and I have never had such great entertainment in years! He just seems to click with everyone. I thought he was the Landlord but he assured me that he was only the barman! Nevertheless, it does not matter because he has an air of confidence that makes you assume that he is the Landlord!
