| We ordered roast beef x 2 and we really could not believe the appalling mess with which we were presented, and this after waiting for 1/2 hour!!! The plate was swimming with gravy which completely covered the incredibly tough and sinewy meat ..The thing which was supposed to be a yorkshire pudding was a soggy burnt mess, parsnips rock hard, potatoes were oily and soggy. The only redeeming feature was the boiled cauliflower,cabbage and carrots which were not overcooked. The owners attitude when we complained that we could not eat the food was beyonbd belief!! He arrogantly pointed out that he had made the yorkshire pudding himself that morning...no wonder they were soggy,and that none of his lunch customers had complained! No word of apology whatsoever!
