| This is not the cleanliest of Pubs and the food is average. Considering Stonehenge is just around the corner and entertains quite a lot of tourists you would expect this to be quite a friendly pub - however this was not the case. The Landlady was over opinionated on anything and everything, she was rude and did not look the 'freshest'. Along with this we watched her drink quite a lot of scotch (we have seen this on a few other ocassions now). We will not ever, recommend, or ever be going back to this pub again. A Landlady/ Landlord's job, regardless of their personal likes, dislaikes and opinions should be kept to themselves as it is not only unprofessional but is bad for business. No Customer should be made to feel as though they are not wanted and nor should they have to drink or eat in a pub, such as this which allows underage persons in to drink alcohol with the view of - "it's better they are drinking here rather than out there......" May be so in a small Village as this, however, Licensing Laws are being breached along knows with whatever else. No this is not a nice pub at all, it needs a major overhaul, staff that smile and look after their customers not just the Locals and upgrading.
