| Recently we popped into the Filly for lunch. It was a saturday and not over busy. Out of the 3 meals we had two were luke warm. The steak and ale pie should have been sent back to the kitchen and the lamb was also not very hot. We wanted a relaxed lunch and did not want the hassel of sending food back, although we did voice our comments aferwards. We will certaintly be driving on and recommend friends to do the same. | Had a lovely stay at the filly. The room was very nice and the staff friendly. I was told that they had just recently employed a new head chef and the food was certainatly of a good standard. Thank you all for a very nice stay. [Report for Removal] | sarah bedlington northumberland |

| Having stayed at the Filly previously we were very disapointed with our recent stay. The staff were bickering amongst themselves, they had run out of the food that we wanted, there is a large hole in the wall behind the wardrobe in which there was a gateway to another dimension (it was the other room really) and we could hear all the grunting noises etc... When we phoned to book we were told quite clearly that it would be £40 per night by a member of staff which was wrong. There was a problem with the real ale (the final nail in the coffin). | My friends and I were very disappointed with The Filly Inn and encountered several problems. The first being one of the meals being completely incorrect, a simple mistake that happens occasionally, however, the female member of staff was extremely rude, trying to make out that it was my friend's fault for ordering incorrectly!! When her correct dish arrived after we had all finished ours it was perfectly fine however. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Chargrilled Chicken breast. This was extremely dry and the mushroom sauce was lacking and very bland. At £11.25 I expected a lot better. They had also run out of two dishes another friend tried to order as well as as a dessert.
