| I only stayed at the pub one night as a B&B guest. It was very cosy and I was made very welcome. The breakfast would have put most 4* hotels to shame and the landlady was extremely friendly and helpful. | Been going to this pub for years and it's still a classic. One of the few bozzers with ale still taken straight from the barrel. The Sunday 'meat draw' is a must. | Old Fashioned drinking pub... no meals, liquid only! The old locals (and new) use this pub a lot and have been for years. The owners are really friendly and you get the feeling you are sat in their lounge with the small fire burning away. A really friendly pub, lots of old fashioned 'goings ons' like Morris Men and singing groups nearer Christmas, bbq's and local fetes in the summer, a really community pub. Not a lot of parking right near the pub - enough for about 7 cars, but within a minutes walk you can park along the quiet roads in Old Bursledon, and it's a beautiful walk back to the pub.
