| Warning: the King Alfred in Winchester is not a baby-friendly pub, despite having a garden with a play area. The owner of this pub is exceedingly rude, especially if you 1) have a large party and 2) have babies in prams. He insulted my wife and my friend’s wife today when they asked him if he could turn on the garden heater.
