| Staff are very nice and food is ok but pricey. Keep an eye on the costs of drinks if the landlord serves you, it tends to "vary".. depending on his sobriety levels I think, and do NOT set up a tab as it may not end up quite to the total you expected. The pub itself is fine, the building is attractive enough, the seating ok. Car park is adequate, toilets are clean and well kept although sharing a hand towel isn't particularly hygenic. Be prepared to have dogs near you at all times to as there are 2 beautiful standard poodles in residence who have a free run of the place (including the dining areas). I won't be going there again as I found the landlord and his wife to be very poor at customer service and we were made to feel most unwelcome (at a breakfast service where all were polite and sober!).
