| We have visited the Woodman on numerous occassions and can say that it is without doubt the very best of its type within miles, except its sister pub the Eagle at Little Coxwell. The quality of food is first class and is indicative of value for money based upon quality not price. The service is again in my view always prompt and in fact except at very busy times it is exceptional. Good food of this type takes time to prepare and the result is quality and never lacking in quantity. Having had lunch snacks and main meals from the Woodman I can say that quality matches the price.[Report for Removal] | Kenneth F Mitchell Nr Faringdon Oxon |

| Food is actually very good, though overpriced. However, a few cursory checks on their website reveal that their current menu was published before the reduction in the VAT from 17.5 to 15% and yet you will be charged the full, published price. In other words, they are pocketing the 2.5% reduction in VAT which should have ended up in the punter's pockets![Report for Removal] | Mr Happy Oxford Oxfordshire |
