| Nice pub - recommended as its recently been refurbed or some such. But not too honest with the food - same old story really. No Yorkshire puds with the roast - claimed we were told when we ordered, but we didn't hear if they did say that. No reduction in the price. Then 4 orders of 'profiteroles with warm chocolate sauce' arrived as 4 profiteroles with a very small stripe of something cold and chocolate coloured. Horrible. Why not just tell us they'd run out of sauce? Did they think we wouldn't notice or mind? 60th birthday lunch so didn't want to spoil it further by sending them back.
