| Stonking boozer! Very cozy and welcoming. Landlord knows his beers, and how to keep them. They always seems to have a great selection. The food is outstanding, and all homemade, try the scotch egg, I still dont know how he manages to get a runny yoke every time! It's a "PROPER PUB" [Report for Removal] | Colin Clements Elgin Moray |

| Everything the previous reviewer, Dave G, said! This thatched pub ticked into a corner of Wood Street, is a gem. The only place I can get cider from the wood. Far too many screens during the World Cup, though - there was no escape! Had to go to the beer garden at the Cross Keys during England games to avoid it. PS: Wootton Basset IS NOT IN SWINDON! We're south of the M4, Swindon's North; and ne'er the twain shall meet. [Report for Removal] | J G Wootton Bassett Wiltshire |
