| I visited the pub with my wife and two friends yesterday (Sunday 14June) looking forward to a good lunch. Unfortunatley the service was abysmal and after an hour and twenty minutes of waiting for the main course we paid for our drinks and one starter and left. It was clear that the waiter was not up to the job and I suspect was new to the job and had not been trained properly. The manager who spent all his time behind the bar was not up to speed either, no enquiries as to why we were leaving and no apologies. [Report for Removal] | David Murdoch Grantham Lincs |

| This pub was re-done in November so ignore any reviews before then. Really nice place now, proper food and drink but not too expensive. Best of all they serve Timothy Taylor Landlord ale. I'm in heaven![Report for Removal] | Chris Reading Berks |
