| I have always loved Bel and the dragon - so long as you accepted the long time you were going to have to wait for the food, it was worth the wait as the food was and still is exquisite. However - last few times - very disapointed with the service, espeically the most recent visist - we ordered bread & olive oil before starters, which never showed up. After a long wait we got our starters, so we cancelled the bread, which they still tried to deliver to us anyway. There were yelling babies in the corner, well after 9pm. I had gone out to escape my children, not be replaced by worse! Our main course was delivered promptly, along with out dessert, but it was after 10pm by then, shortly afterwards we noticed the restaurant clearing of people, waitresses with coats on etc. We tried to order coffee - no later than 10.30pm, but was told the kitchen was closed. I know the credit crunch is hitting, but to send the staff home early on a Friday night before clients have finished is ridiculous. we won't be returning.[Report for Removal] | S Lancaster high wycombe bucks |
