| I was really disappointed with the food at the pub on the weekend. We went for a sunday roast after i read all the great reviews about the pub, and i was truly disappointed. The food is poor for the price you pay for it. The potatoes were dry, the meat was average, not enough gravy, vegetables undercooked and staff unfriendly. | Started well, nice location, good bar service on arrival. Service at the table was very ordinary, incorrect oder on the main course. My main coursewas to be generous average, I had the duck which was tough and bland. Cheese board was good but let down by the grapes that had seen better days! To round off the coffee - well the only polite description is to say the worst coffee I have ever experienced.
