| The Red Lion is a real treat. From the moment you see it, with its olde worlde exterior and ivy and lavender clad walls, the place does not disappoint. Unpretentious interior, newly refurbished with a nod to old world appeal, the ambiance is classy without overbearing. Keen, enthusiastic staff greet you at both the 2 bars and the restaurant. Uncomplicated , well thought out menu with wide appeal and a good selection of wines and champagnes at surprisingly reasonable prices. Highly recommended all round, and if you do go, finish the meal with the sticky toffee pudding - it is a knock out, and will have you being revived in the pub car park by the medics.[Report for Removal] | Barry Jeffrey Slough Berks |
