| We've been several times since it re-opened under new management and have always enjoyed the experience. When you enter the place is bright and cheerful, the staff welcoming, the real ales are in good form and there's a good wine list to choose from. | Nice food but you will be rushed. We booked in advance for seven people at 1.30pm on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived at 1.20pm and announced ourselves we were told immediately that our table was available until 3.00pm when another party were booked in. We were invited to sit down at 2.00pm and at 2.45pm were asked whether we wanted a sweet before we had finished the main course. At 2.55pm we were asked if we would or would not be having a sweet as the table was needed. Overall, a family birthday ruined because they wanted to squeeze in more people and earn more money.
