| Proper pub, with tiled floor for dogs/walkers and a wood burning stove in one room and a carpeted dining/lounge room with open coal fire. All the beers are of the highest standards with my favourite, "Double Hop" particularly good. A good selection of good no-nonsense pub food available, The Landlord, Steve, has trained under Gordon Ramsay and is a bit grumpy on 1st meeting him but thats all a front and he is life and soul.
