| I'm a regular at the Crown - it's a real traditional pub, there's no food, no music, just beer and companionship. The clientele are all a little aged, the average has to be somewhere in the mid-fifties. That being said, there is a young crowd that frequent the pub too, as the beer is exceedingly cheap. A Pint of Alpine runs to just £1.65 at time of writing (07/11/2009). The Landlord, John, is careful to keep the kids in the pool room in order to maintain a quiet atmosphere for the rest of the pub's customers. I go because I can hang with my homies in a relaxed atmosphere, where we have no fear of receiving any aggro and we can spend the night just chewing the fat and shooting some pool.[Report for Removal] | Andrew Gladwell Ashton Under Lyne Lancs |
