| Definitely worth a visit if your in the area. You can tell the food is home cooked and the vegetables fresh. Nice atmosphere, the family who run it are very welcoming.It's nice to find a pub still interested in real ales.[Report for Removal] | Clare bolton lancs |

| We ordered 4 meals including 2 tuna melts served on baguettes. When they came out of the kitchen the 2 tuna melts were disgraceful. The baguettes that we believed we were getting were actually one burger bap cut in half and some tuna mayo put on top then toasted ( they were not even big enough for a childs portion and still the price of a baguettes). It came with some salad on the side We said we thought that they were supposed to come on baguettes. The waitress then told us that there were non left but to have a word with the manager behind the bar and see what he could do. We told him about this expecting him to just charge us a sandwich price - we would have been happy with this. He didn't even appologise and told us we could have a refund on the 2 tuna melts and he would take them back. Why would the other two people in a party of 4 sit and eat whilst the other two had nothing? He was rude and his customer services was appalling. We ended up telling him we wanted a refund for all the food. We would have been happy to get them at a reduced price but he was so rude we felt there was no other option. Then to top it all off he would not refund the money back onto the credit card we used to pay and gave us cash. The food and customer service was disgusting.
