| This is a local pub (Greene King) that offers a good selection of lagers and bitter. Shows the sports on big screens and is very well run (having seen the guv'nor in action). There is also a snug area with leather settees and you can tell effort has been put into the pub. Service is very good (even when busy) and there is always a member of bar staff in eye sight at the bar. Food is also offered (my mother liked it and that is a plus point in itself) and children are also welcome. It's not a salubrious pub and you won't find any Penelope Keiths in there (To The Manor Born anyone?). As with any local pub in this neck of the woods it is a tidy no-nonsense pub with no theatrics. It does have a few cliques to be expected as a neighbourhood pub. Lots of take-aways nearby which is always a plus point. Fine by me. [Report for Removal] | Matt Stevenage Hertfordshire |
