| WENT THERE FOR VALENTINES NIGHT. NORMAL MENU BUT LOTS OF LITTLE EXTRA TOUCHES: RED ROSE FOR LADIES, ROSES CHOCOLATES FOR THE MEN RED TABLE COTHS AND CANDLES ON TABLES ALL MADE FOR A VERY NICE EVENING AT NO EXTRA COST. | I have been to the pub on several occasions now since moving to the local area and every time has been very satisfied with the food, the service and the friendliness of the staff. The pub is very clean and caters for everyone. There is a large garden for the summer and they hold regular quiz nights and live music nights. | my wife and i came in to the crown on the same day and have been in almost every sunday for the last three months and always found the carvery to be excellent pay no heed to previous comments this place is definately on the up since the new management have taken over it is nice to have a place that serve good honest home cooked food keep up the good work [Report for Removal] | chris brace knebworth herts |

| Superb! A pleasent and rememberable atmosphere whereby you are made welcome no matter what race or creed you come from. The management down to the bar staff cater to your every needs and make you welcome and wanting to return. The locals are chatty and without preduce. | Just under new management, a large countryside Pub on the edge of Stevenage. Caters for families, extensive parking, large courtyard, beer garden and childrens play area.
